On Friday, October 29th, the “Student-run Multidisciplinary Allied Health Practice Centre” Project has established two external mechanisms, conducted of 15 founding members from National and International Companies that aim to support the students’ development and sustainability of the Centre.
The Joint Venture Group, composed of capitalists aim to support promising Innovative Ideas of the Students, on the bi-annual events for Innovation. The students’ will be presented the opportunity to co-develop their ideas with the support of a supervisor, and supported by the Joint Venture Group on the Implementation of the new ideas. Through this process, the Joint Venture Mechanism will provide:
- A conducive environment for ideas of greatest potential for turning into successful enterprises in Kosovo and globally
- Financial and professional expertise at the international level for promising business ideas
- Promotion and stimulation of the entrepreneurial mindset among the Kosovo youth, students, researchers, and overall community in a developing country such as Kosovo
- Tapping the vast opportunities for profitable ideas which are generated by prospective and experienced health professionals, academicians and professionals working together in a multidisciplinary allied health center
- Capitalization on the excellent international bonds established at the institutional as well as individual levels between the SMAHPC team members for the last seven years.
Meanwhile, the Industry Advisory Board comprised of Industry Experts will support the Centre’s sustainability in regard to the contemporary advancements in the Medical Industry. The Industry Advisory Board will offer:
- Consultation, revision, and identification of ways how to better the quality of services being offered by the SMAHPC Center
- Identification of the current and prospective trends in terms of professional needs of health professionals in Kosovo and beyond
- Contribution in co-creating and co-delivering relevant professional trainings
- Support the SMAHPC partners develop alternative solutions in healthcare sector in Kosovo and beyond
- Advocacy for the improvement of the sector by articulating the needs that stem from the industry and utilizing them to influence institutional stakeholders in the formulation of new policies.
