This week, all partners involved in the SMAHPC project are staying at Metropolia University in Helsinki, Finland. The purpose of this visit is to participate and co-run the workshop organized for the development of a model for a student-run Multidisciplinary Center. This is a product of the SMAHPC Project (Student-run Multidisciplinary Allied Health Practice Center) granted by the European Commission’s ERASMUS + Program, where Heimerer College is the leading applicant.

In addition to partners from Europe, including Universities from Finland and Turkey, as well as local partners from Gjilan and Gjakova, which are part of the Project consortium, the SMAHPC Project will soon mark one year since implementation. So far, some of the key concepts and ideologies within the work packages have been developed, which serve for the delivery of the results of the Project, focusing on evidence-based approach, client-centeredness, innovation and entrepreneurship. Similar workshops and study visits have been and will continue to be conducted at Heimerer College and at other local partners, as well as in Turkey and Finland over the next two years of the.

This represents the second phase of the co-created operating model within the SMAHPC project, funded by the ERASMUS + Program. The implementation of this phase is being realized according to the new approach of the Goal Attainment Scaling (GAS).

This phase follows that of Diagnosis and Evaluation for which the relevant group of students and staff have been trained during the sessions organized in the last three weeks by the relevant experts of JAMK University from Finland. Such a phase has been realized according to the also new approach of the International Classification Framework.

2 of the 5 stages are being performed! 3 more await us until June 2020 when the pilot phase of the innovative SMAHPC Center operation model is completed
